Dallas Zoo

Children of all ages love zoos, and the Dallas Zoo is one of the best in the country. With over 2000 animals from all over the world, it will be sure to please young and old alike. The Dallas Zoo features, among many other things, a children’s zoo, a gorilla research center, and a special “Giants of the Savanna” habitat. This one of a kind exhibit has a variety of large African animals in one space to recreate the feel of the African savanna. You can even feed the giraffe herd lettuce and crackers at the feeding station. It is an experience not to be missed.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

This isn’t just another boring museum! The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is full of hands-on experiences that are sure to engage all members of the family. The museum opened in 2012 and has continued to produce stunning exhibits. You can experience a faux earthquake, create robots, view the Perot dinosaur that is a newly discovered species, and take in a movie at the 300 seat theater. No trip to Dallas would be complete without spending a day there.

Reunion Tower GeO-Deck

To get the most amazing view of Dallas, head to the top of the Reunion Tower. Known to locals simply as “The Ball,” this observation tower is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Dallas. As the 15th tallest building in Dallas, it rises 561 feet into the air. From the GeO-Deck, you can use telescopes to see in every direction. The world famous chef, Wolfgang Puck, also opened a restaurant on the rotating top floor that visitors can enjoy.
